Receiving dean’s list commendation is an achievement that warrants celebration and recognition. Full-time undergraduate students who demonstrate academic excellence by achieving a term grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.50 while also earning a minimum of 12 or more credit hours, receive dean’s list commendation. Each semester, upon processing of approved grade changes, student records will be evaluated for dean's list eligibility. Dean's list notation will appear on the student's academic transcript.
Once a student has received notice that they have been named to the dean’s list, students and families are welcome to request publication recognition from their hometown newspapers. Those who wish to be recognized by a publication can provide the official university notification of the achievement to the publication as part of the request.
Questions related to dean’s list eligibility should be directed to the office of the dean of the student’s college.
