Bio
Sharene Reed has been teaching at JWU Denver’s College of Hospitality Management since 2003. She teaches a variety of classes, including Introduction to Hotel Management, Sales and Meeting Management, Front Office Operations, Sustainable Hotel Support Operations, and International Hotel Operations.
Prior to joining JWU Denver, Reed worked nearly twenty years for Marriott International. The majority of her career has been in group sales, reservations, front office operations and event management.
Reed plays an important and active role in student academic advising. Starting as early as freshman year, she helps students prepare for a successful JWU experience. The advising effort includes academic support and assistance to help students make an effective transition to university life.
