Stephen Riccitelli

I am a retired captain with the North Smithfield police department here in Rhode Island, I was with the department for 25 years and held several positions throughout my time with the department. I started out as a patrol officer, then detective, patrol lieutenant, detective lieutenant, and operations captain. During my time with NSPD, I was assigned as an Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force member with the Rhode Island State Police and as a member of the SOLEMN Task Force with the U.S. Marshals Service here in Rhode Island.

Prior to joining the police force, I was a correctional officer at the Donald W. Wyatt Detention Facility in Central Falls, Rhode Island.

I am a U.S. Army veteran and served overseas in Southwest Asia (Gulf War) during Operation Desert Shield/ Storm.
