DPT Faculty

Our highly-experienced Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) faculty have an average of two decades of clinical experience. Their dedication to the profession’s advancement includes involvement in organizations like the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE), and the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy (FSBPT), among others.

Our faculty have also:

• Conducted critical research assessing relevant clinical/legislative issues and the efficacy of PTs ordering imaging.
• Helped revise the official Guide to Physical Therapist Practice.
• Helped develop international guidelines on concussion for the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).
• Written line items for inclusion in the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE).
• Offered services and support to such organizations as American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) House of Delegates, RI APTA, Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy (FSBPT), Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE), American Council of Academic Physical Therapy (ACAPT), the Veterans Administration (VA) and the U.S. Department of Defense.
